The children welcomed at TARA have lived for several years in extremely vulnerable conditions. In many cases they were subject to violence, abuse, malnutrition or even murder attempts. When you sponsor a child in Delhi, you show your belief in his potential and capabilities and you empower his self confidence and desire to succeed. If you sponsor a child:

• You will receive two letters or drawings of him
• On your request, we can send you the confidential case study of the child
• You can visit him by contacting us

• School has sound infrastructure and has spread across 2 acres.
• It has well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics Lab.
• It has Computer Labs, Library, Art Room, music room, dance room, medical room and an auditorium with a seating capacity of 400 people
• School premises are well lit and having airy classrooms.
• Provision of clean and cold drinking water for children.
• It has 2 playgrounds, basket ball court,
• School premises is having CCTV surveillance
• Clinic facilities for students

With the COVID-19 health crisis sweeping across the nation, we know how challenging it is for the students from a poor background and their families right now, and the coming weeks and months.

Your donation will help in providing essential financial help to buy groceries, health supplies, and other necessities to the personally identified students whose families are suffering to make the ends meet.

All the money donated is spent directly on activities that benefit children. There is no administration expense at Deepam since all the work is done by volunteers.

Donations to Deepam Charitable Trust are eligible for exemption under Section 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961.

provides custom worksheets / books for children to help them effectively utilise the weekly Deepam classes. These sheets and workbooks are tailored for the children, based on an evaluation that we conduct. Every Deepam session has a planned curriculum that is prepared by volunteers.

FCA is active since 2008 and organises over 30 class sessions at each school, every year. Over 2500+ children have benefited from FCA classes since 2008. We publish an Annual Report on our website, that gives all the details of work done for the year and the financial details for accountability.
